Mitile: G-Good evening.
Faust opened the door after hearing a familiar voice.
Akira: Mitile?
Mitile: Ah... Master Sage, you're here.
Mitile, who seemed a little nervous, relaxed as soon as he saw me.
Faust: Do you need anything?
Mitile: Doctor Figaro told me to bring over some medicine for you. He said you didn’t seem well during dinner.
Faust: ...Medicine?
Faust: ..........
After checking what was inside the paper bag, for a split second, Faust looked surprised.
He scowled soon after, as if he had stepped on gravel.
Faust: .........
Mitile: Mister Faust...?
He quickly closed the paper bag, and returned to his usual gentle and calm demeanor.
Faust: ...Thank you. Sorry for troubling you this late at nightーyou too, Sage.
Akira: Please don't mind it.
Mitile: I’ll be glad if the medicine can help.
Mitile and I spoke at the same time, and it made us gleefully giggle at each other.
Mitile: Ah, what a beautiful flower…
Faust: Flower?
Mitile: I just noticed that pretty glass jar you have over there.
Mitile: That's a flower in it, right? Do you like flowers, Mister Faust?
Faust followed the direction of Mitile’s gaze and found himself looking at a glass pot on top of the table. Inside was a flower in bloom, like a goldfish in an aquarium.
Faust: Ah, that’s not a flower display, but tea. It has relaxing effects, so I often drink it before sleeping.
Mitile: Wow, so it's tea! I've never seen one like it before.
Mitile: If it helps improve sleep, then it might work as a replacement for medicine! I also make potions like that sometimes, ones that have effects on sleep quality.
Mitile: Ah, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to disturb you while you’re not feeling well.
Faust: ...No, it's fine.
Mitile: You came here out of concern for Mister Faust too, right, Master Sage?
Akira: Y-Yes, I did. I got worried, so I checked up on him.
Akira: (Well, that wasn't exactly why I came here, but it's not wrong either...)
Faust: I'll be fine. You two should go back to your room. It's late.
Akira: You're right. Let's go back, Mitile.
Mitile: Okay! I'll walk you to your room, Master Sage.
Akira: Thank you. Good night, Faust.
Mitile: Mister Faust, I hope you get well soon.
Faust: Thank you. Good night.

[Location: Corridor]
Mitile: Um, Master Sage?
Mitile: Maybe it's just me, but… I think Mister Faust looked surprised when I gave him the medicine from Doctor Figaro...
Mitile: Should I have asked him what its contents are before giving it to Mister Faust?
Mitile: Doctor Figaro is very skilled, so I don’t think he’ll give anything that will trouble him further...
Akira: (To be honest, Faust's reaction concerned me too, but...)
Akira: I don’t think there’s anything to be worried about. If it was something dangerous, then Faust would have said something then and there.
Akira: I’m sure he’s grateful both to you and Figaro.
Mitile: Y-You think so? Then I'm glad.
Relieved, joy once again reappeared on Mitile’s face.
Mitile: Oh, that reminds me. You and Mister Faust get along well, right? The two of you seemed comfortable with each other when I saw you earlier.
Akira: Really? I'm happy to know it looks that way.
Mitile: I think he’s close with Mister Leno and the rest of the Eastern wizards as well. I see him with them sometimes.
Mitile: I hope Doctor Figaro and Mister Faust can become friends too.
Mitile: I noticed that every time Doctor Figaro talks to Mister Faust, he always makes him angry...
Akira: (Figaro...)
Mitile: And it’d be nice if I can get along with him too, of course.
Mitile: Shino and Heathcliff always talk about how much of a great teacher he is, so I also want to try talking to him…
Mitile: But when our eyes meet, I can’t help but feel nervous… Just like earlier, I couldn’t talk well.
Akira: You can talk to him at your own pace. I’m sure you’ll slowly get closer to him.
Mitile: Okay!

[Location: Faust's room]
Faust: ....
Faust: That man… Fragranced wood of the divine eye tree would make an extremely powerful talisman.
Faust: He even gave me some of his sugar...
Faust: ..........
Faust: « Satillquinart Mullcreed »
Faust: In any case, this should fix the barrier. It looks like I won’t need to go back to the East.
Faust: A starry night, huh.
Faust: ...What a nostalgic dream.
