Alternative title: You may not want to sell your R cards for sugars just yet.

You have an SR card you want to uncap, but no silver petals…. But do you remember that you can limit-break a card with another card of the same character?

How it works

The basic knowledge is that each rarity has its own maximum level cap. You can increase that by using flower petals (bronze for R, silver for SR, and gold for SSR). Increasing card level requires Card EXP, which is obtainable by training the cards and by feeding them items (the sugar powders) or cards. When using the cards of the same character, we also earn a small chance of that card being uncapped. See that percentage under the EXP bar?

Of course, if you're confident with your luck, it's not impossible to limit-break an SR card with a single R card, but RNG knows not kindness.

The good news is, that percentage is actually stackable! So it’s possible to make the limit-break guaranteed. In this guide, I’ll write how to make that percentage 100%.

So what do I do?

One R card at base level will give you a 5% chance. When fully uncapped to level 80, it will increase to a 10% chance. So it's simple math actually: we use multiple cards and stack the chance percentage! To do this, we need R cards of the same character as the SR you want to uncap x 10 and bronze petals x 50, or R cards of the same character x 20 (the cards don't have to be leveled up!).. Personally, it's easier to go with 10 Rs and 50 bronze petals. I don’t always keep many copies of R cards, so 10 is a more possible number for me. Bronze petals are obtainable through mission drops, so in a way, it’s easier to get than R cards of a specific character.

Execution!

Go to パーティ > 育成カード > 成長. Choose an SR card you want to uncap. As an example, I’ll uncap this stamina recovery Murr SR. I already uncapped the Rs, so all that’s left is to tap tap away!

Can I use this method to uncap an SSR card?

Yes, this method is also applicable to SSR cards! But SSR cards can only be uncapped by using SR cards, unfortunately. A copy of a base level SR card will give you 5% chance, so you’ll need 10 fully uncapped SR cards of the same character, or 20 of base level cards. For many reasons, I don’t use my SR cards to uncap the SSRs and only use the gold petal. Strangely enough, silver petals are almost as rare as the gold ones, and it takes a lot of your card storage to keep multiple copies (though storage is expandable). Event rewards would be the mana-less way to obtain SR cards, but I’d rather get an SSR ticket.
