[Location: Manor’s courtyard, day]
Akira: It says here in the Sage’s Guide that every wizard has their own place of spiritual power.
Akira: They can refresh and refocus on themselves in that place, like a power spot[1].
Akira: I heard they’re called mana areas. Do you have your own mana area too, Murr?
Murr: Yep! Mine is the edge of a pond where the moon is reflected on its surface!
Murr: The moon floats high in the sky, yet I’m choosing to gaze at its reflection on the pond’s surface! The contradiction is giving me goosebumps!
Murr: But I think we all like things like that! “Why? How did it become like this?” Once I start thinking, I can’t stop.
Akira: It doesn’t sound much different from the usual you, but can being there help you make a sudden breakthrough or something?
Murr: To me it’s the opposite! If I go to my mana area, I can’t concentrate at all.
Murr: I just keep thinking and thinking, so much I can’t stop to sort out my thoughts. Like purposely not scratching at itchy skin, like bearing with an uncomfortable feeling and not doing anything about it…
Murr: Keeping the itch inside, and then releasing it all at once like BOOM!
Akira: …Somehow it’s like you’re teasing yourself…
Murr: Ahaha! Shylock told me that too!

[Location: Murr’s room]
Akira: The Sage's Guide says that wizards who are away from their mana area for a long time carry an amulet that embodies their mana area.
Akira: If they have their amulets, they’ll receive effects similar to what they receive when they’re in their mana area. Do you have one too, Murr?
Murr: Yup! Wanna see?
Akira: Yes please, if you don’t mind.
Murr: Okayyy! Give me a sec…
Murr: Hmm? I thought I put it around here. Not this, also not this…
Akira: Ah…. I thought it’d be kept somewhere you can easily find.
Murr: Found it! Look, Master Sage!
Akira: What a pretty ring… Is this your amulet?
Murr: Yep! It’s a gem called the moonstone. Stones from the real moon are a thousand times prettier, but I think the name is cool!
Murr: My mana area is a pond where the moon is reflected on its surface, so I thought that a moonstone, in name only, would be perfect.
Murr: I wear this ring on nights when I can’t meet the moon; like the night of the new moon, or when it’s cloudy. Makes me look forward to the next time we’ll meet!
Akira: I can see the complicated feelings you have for your amulet…

Murr: Master Sage, it’s dangerous here! A beast is running amok!
Akira: Huh, a beast!?
Murr: I’m playing hide and seek with Chloe, so hide with me!
Akira: Whoa, don’t drag me! Murr, wait!

Murr: Phew, glad we found a good place to hide!
Akira: Um… Isn’t this Oz’s room, though!?
Murr: All the more reason to hide in it! It’s the safest place in the entire manor, after all!

Akira: Murr, do you remember your family?
Murr: Kinda yes… and kinda no? I remember the fact that I don’t remember much.
Akira: What about their occupation? And your parents… Did you have siblings?
Murr: They were jewelers! I became one too, ‘cause they were!
Murr: My parents were great at running a business. They invested a lot in one go, instead of saving their assets. It wasn’t a bad idea.
Murr: I had an older brother who hated me, but I never cared about him. My mother was pretty blah, so I don’t remember much about ‘er!
Murr: I stayed with my family for a while, but I had lots more things I wanted to do and explore.
Murr: So I took some ore and jewels that I liked, and I went on a journey. That was the last time I saw my family!
Murr: Did that answer your question, Master Sage?
Akira: Y-Yes. Looks like you can remember if you try.
Murr: Yup! Since that answered your question, I’ll forget it now.
Akira: Uh… Huh!? W-Why…
Murr: Families are boring! If I’ve got space in my head to fill with facts, I’d rather fill it with stuff about your world! So tell me, Master Sage! I love hearing about your world, it’s fun!

[Location: Manor’s courtyard, day]
Akira: I heard that your soul was shattered because you got too close to the moon, but do you remember anything from your past, Murr?
Murr: Maybe I remember? Maybe I don’t? Or maybe I forgot that I remember?
Akira: Um… How about Shylock? Do you remember any of the things you’ve done with him in the past?
Murr: There are some I remember, some that I don’t! Shylock said my memory only serves my own convenience! And that it doesn’t remember anything that’s inconvenient for me!
Akira: Haha… I see.
Option 1: What do you remember?
Murr: Shylock standing behind the counter! How he was looking at me with a smile. How the corner of his lips turned upwards. Like he knew everything about me.
Murr: We chatted like we were playing a card game that we both didn’t want to lose in. I totally forgot what we were talking about, but whatever it was, it put me in a good mood!
Option 2: Do you remember about the first time you both met?
Murr: I don’t! Shylock won’t tell me either. He said it’s nothing important!
Murr: But it’s gotta be important. That’s why he wants me to remember it on my own.
Akira: I see… Who is Shylock to you, Murr?
Murr: I like him lots! I want him to sway and sway and sway, just like my beloved hammock!
Murr: But I forget things that are inconvenient for me, so sometimes I forget about that too!

Shylock?: Sigh… I really don’t care about my appearance as long as I have a mouth.
Lennox?: Ahaha! I can’t believe I just saw Shylock being so ill-mannered, eating with his hands! It’s the worst and best thing I’ve seen today!
Akira: Their personalities are in total chaos!
Option 1: Something feels wrong with Riquet.
Riquet?: Are you serious!? Sage, ya blind or somethin’?
Option 2: Something feels wrong with Shylock.
Shylock?: If this is your attempt to outwit him, then it isn’t working. Even I know that I am not Shylock.
Option 3: Something feels wrong with Lennox.
Lennox?: Ooooh, pretty sharp guess there, Master Sage! Gotta love our game-savvy Master Sage! Tickles me pink!
Murr?: The right answer is….
(Murr turns into Shylock)
Shylock: It was Murr.
Lennox?: Ahaha! I did say everyone in this room!

Akira: H-Huh? So you were acting as Murr, Shylock? I can’t believe the Northern wizards were all in for this!
Shylock: Fufufu.
Bradley: Fuckin’ finally. C’mere, food, come to Papa. Should’ve transformed me into Oz or somethin’.
Mithra: Munch munch…
Murr: That was fun! Time to dig in!

Murr: Master Sage, are you looking for something? Or is something looking for you?
Akira: A mouse came inside when I opened the door…
Akira: It ran so quickly that I lost it, so I’m looking for it now.
Murr: Ooh! Hmm, but I’m scared of mice, so I don’t think I can help you.

Murr: Just kidding, meooow! I’m actually really good at pest control.

Akira: There’s one about rabbits living on the moon. It’s pretty famous.
Akira: I used to believe it back when I was a child. I was a little disappointed after finding out it was just a legend, though.
Murr: I see…
Murr: So your world has already advanced that far, huh.
Akira: Huh? Does that mean there are rabbits on the moon in this world?
Murr: Who knows!

Akira: The sun’s going to set soon… Time flies, huh.
Murr: Master Sage, you look pooped. You’re tottering on your feet!

Murr: Yep! I invite everyone! Shino wanted to try sleeping in my hammock. I scared the bejeebers out of Chloe once, and he’s never come back.
Murr: Cain is better at darts than card games. Rustica likes my rocking chair. Shylock said he likes his own room more!

Murr: A day starts in the morning when the sun rises, reaches its peak at noon, and when it sets, it’s nighttime!
Akira: …Can you tell me your schedule, Murr?
Murr: I wake up, get hungry, and get sleepy!
Murr: Got it! Here it is, the magical key that will open any door!
Murr: Didn’t you say you were troubled ‘cause Owen and Faust just wouldn’t come out of their rooms? You can use this!

Shylock: Murr is currently in training, so no. He seemed to be bored, so I’m having him help me tend the bar.
Murr: I helped! I arranged the shelves! I polished the glasses!
Shylock: For the record, I’m giving him proper breaks. If he can help me complete one task, I’ll play a game of trump with him. If he helps me with two, we’ll have a round of billiards.

Akira: Sounds good! Please tell me.
Rustica: First and foremost, we’ll spend time relaxing by the river. We will then sing to the sound of splashing waters and twittering birds.
Akira: (They’re going out in nature… That is healing.)
Chloe: After that, we’ll go shopping in town! I want to pick out a new set of clothes for everyone!
Akira: (Yep, yep. Super healing…)
Shylock: Next, we’ll stop by the casino, and enjoy a thrilling night of deceit.
Akira: (Huh? Why did that sound like the odd one out?)
Murr: Lastly, we’ll shoot off fireworks into the sky! We’ll be the stars of the show whether we win or lose!
Chloe: That’s so awesome!
Shylock, Rustica: It is indeed.
Akira: Ahaha, it sounds a little different than the healing trip I imagined, but the Western wizards would be sure to enjoy it with a plan like that!
