Quietly Wishing: Chapter 1
[Location: Hallway, night]
Shylock: Prince Arthur. What could be keeping you up this late at night?
Arthur: Oh, Shylock. I’m on my way to the kitchen. I was busy going through documents, and just got thirsty.
(stomach grumbling)
Arthur: Ah….
Shylock: Fufu, good work today. How about a moment of rest? I have a good idea.
Arthur: Idea?
Shylock: One that is sure to satisfy you. Please follow me.
[Location: Shylock’s bar, night]
Arthur: We came to your bar…. It’s relaxing and has a good atmosphere, indeed.
Shylock: Fufu, that would be the highest of compliments. If you do not mind, please have this quiche I just baked.
Shylock: I cannot say that cooking is my forte, so I would appreciate it if you lower your expectations.

Arthur: Shylock, thank you for your consideration, but I’m not yet in the age for alcohol….
Shylock: Fufu, that will be alright, since this is a non-alcoholic cocktail.
Shylock: When I heard about tanabata from the Master Sage, the image of a beautiful starry sky came to mind.
Shylock: And so I tried to project them inside the cocktail.
Arthur: Blue and purple…. A gradation just like the night sky. It’s really beautiful, it’s almost a pity to drink all of it.
Shylock: Thank you, please have a try.
Arthur: …! It’s delicious and refreshing. And somehow I feel stress gradually leaving my shoulders….

Shylock: Fufu, I’m glad. Master Sage, you have worked hard today as well.
