This guide shows how to get 61%-65% event point bonus early without rolling for gacha (the F2P way).
Necessary Mahoyaku knowledge for this guide:
- Basic navigation around the game app
- How event (and event chibi) works
- How traits work (I’m sure there was an in-depth guide on this but I forgot where….)
- How to make an all-999 chibi. There are guides to make an all-999 chibis in several locations (see this post). F2Ps might find it the easiest to make them using Bennett Bar’s Mitile Cannon, the 3-biscuits method (guide here).
For new players who have zero Mahoyaku experience, please read this comprehensive guide first, since this guide isn’t total-beginner friendly. Here’s another link that contains guides. Otherwise, continue reading!
DISCLAIMER: I’m pretty much just explaining panda_4696’s guide in English, and with more detail. Give them a retweet and like if you find this helpful.

Prepare Necessary Items
Bronze petals (x20 or x25)
Bronze petals, like the 5-leaf clover, is a rare drop. The difference is, there is no sure way to get them everytime. You can farm for them by doing missions, and using the black tail item (the blue tail item is to increase the chibi upgrade points you earn from doing missions) to increase the chance for rare items to drop.
Another way to do this is to make another chibi team specially assembled to farm for items. Here is a guide for that. (You can also set the leader to a chibi that has “Party’s mission skill activation rate increase by 18%”/”味方パーティ内のキャラクターのミッションスキル発動率+18%” leader skill, and use black tail item as substitute for the regular clovers).
You will need at least 20 or 25 bronze petals every event so might want to stock up on it whenever you can!
Crystal powders
Crystal powders are items to increase card EXP. They look like this:
You can farm for them while farming for the bronze petals. We need at least enough to level up 4-5 R cards to level 80. To get one (1) R card to level 80 instantly, you’ll need 11 big powder jars, or 21 powder bottles, or 41 crystal powders.
Farm for blue magic biscuits
Because we’ll be visiting Bennett Bar during the event to make another strong event chibi. The reason for this is… as far as I know, you just can’t create a decent chibi with a party that consists of 4-5 R cards on another spot. This is the power of Mitile Cannon. All hail Mitile. (yeah i know how scary itll be if the event r cards are not cain or oz or mitile lol rng pls have mercy)
The way to farm this is the same as farming for the bronze petals and crystal powders. Although, if you sell a chibi with at least 7500 of total parameters (possible by upgrading your chibi. NOT recommended if you don’t have chibi upgrade points you want to get rid of), it will give you one (1) blue magic biscuit. So you can do this while farming for 5-leaf clovers too. Multitask, baby. Milk those resources.
Event chibi
(This part is written with optimizing the 1MP chibi team in mind)
Let’s review the bonus points you’ll get by setting event cards as your party members (you can always see this by tapping the 特効詳細 button on the event page):
- SSR gacha: 10%
- SR gacha: 7% (Prelude events: 5%)
- R gacha: 3% (Prelude events: 2%)
- SSR reward (so far only available in Prelude events): 7%
- SR reward: 5% (Prelude events: 3%)
- R reward: 2% (Prelude events: 1%)
Players who don’t roll for gacha can rely on reward cards for event point bonuses (yes it's the whole point of this guide).
Research the advantageous traits (here's why and how), and make event chibi with gold (normal and/or pink) traits. If you don't have any gacha cards then 13%-15% is the max bonus you get for now. You may want to remake your leader to have the event trait(s) in the case that you can't defeat the lv 20 advanced calamity with 1 MP.
Little tip on finding friend support other than the Twitter hashtag: on the friend search-by-username bar, type 特効/tokkou, and click search/検索. Follow the users with a card that you're looking for (the ones with pink 特 symbol. The higher the level the better).
Also useful if you want to find a certain card. For example, 祝祭ラスティカ for Prelude Rustica. So thankful to players whose username is the card they set as support.
It’s Showtime!
Alright, so it’s 4PM JST, and the event just started. You got your team + the event chibi ready. It’s time to nyoom!
Step 1: Get R reward cards.
Play normally (a guide if you’re a beginner) and get those R cards.
We’re going to do a little math now to answer why we need the R cards.
You know how the bonus will stack when you uncap with petals/duplicate cards? R reward card has a 2% point bonus. When you give it 5 bronze petals, it’s the same as stacking 5 more cards. Now you have 1 R reward card that is equal to 6 R reward cards, so you’ll get 12% in one fully uncapped R card (6*2=12). Make that 5, and you get the maximum 60% bonus with the expense of 25 bronze petals, yay!
I offer you two ways of doing this:
Using 4 R cards
Add the SSR event chibi (gives 5%, SR chibi gives only 3%) and SSR event friend card support (gives 10%), 48+15=63% (or 61%), yay!
Remember to get the gold pink trait, or your chibi’s skills will be stuck at lv 3!
Recommended if you need to get the gold pink trait for power boost from friend support.
Using 5 R cards
Use 5 R cards if you want the maximum bonus.
I only recommend this If you have at least one (1) event gacha SR (lv 75)/SSR (min. lv 75) to give you the gold pink trait (but then again you won't need that many R cards if you have a fully uncapped SR gacha). Fully uncapped R cards only give the bronze pink trait, and that only allows for chibi skills to be at lv 3 max (im repeating this as many times as i can bc im very likely to forget).
Recommended if the current event's chibi skill is powerful enough that you don't need the golden trait power boost. It's also possible to use 5 cards you're just gonna put it as a party member and not party leader.
Edit (11/21): You will get a chibi with skill level 5 as long as you have THREE of the favorable traits. It doesn't matter which. If getting an unfavorable trait is unavoidable, get a silver/gold favorable trait to negate that.
This shouldn't happen if you don't use an event's banner SSR as training partner, since the card episode will 100% give you the trait. You're free to go with 4 or 5 R cards, depending if you think your team needs the golden trait boost or not!
Step 2: Uncap them to increase event point bonus.
Check the R card skill before leveling them up!
Some R cards have a skill that heals you when you caught cold/are injured. That skill is “heals when your training partner catches a cold” at lv 1. It changes from “cold” to “injured” once the card level reaches 25 and above. So if you don't raise the level you’ll be fine, the skill won’t activate and heal your training partner in the most crucial time and ruin your Mitile Canon plan.
Other than the cards that has the skill I mentioned above, level them up to 80. Yes, this is where you need the crystal powders. You can feed it to the R cards as you uncap them. Here’s a guide to limit-breaking if you need it.
Step 3: Make a strong event chibi again with those level 80 cards.
While waiting for your MP to replenish, go back to Bennett Bar and make another event chibi with a different lineup. For Central Rhapsody, here’s my lineup (initially):
coly where is my Arthur SSR?
And this is how it turned out (It’s supposed to be 63%. coly later announced that White’s R card was giving a 5% bonus instead of 2%, and fixed the ‘bug’):
It’s not all-999 because I’m a beginner in using 3-biscuits Mitile Cannon, so I used medium-size biscuit to practice. But, shrugs, not bad. This will do.
You can do it like this as well:
(I’m a Mitile Cannon 3-biscuits beginner challenger.)
This could be a little tricky since it’s up to RNG and card skills. I didn’t do this because I cannot get the golden pink trait this way (no SSR, and I don’t have Cain’s gacha SR to get it) to max Cain’s mission skill to level 5.
But at least, yay, we have a 63% (or 65% if you used 5 R cards) bonus event chibi! Replace your 15% event chibi with the new one and you’re all set!
Here’s my party for Central Rhapsody:
(I wrote in my 1MP chibi team guide that Cain was better for Central Rhapsody because of the trait buff. This was before I change it out of frustration of failing the 1MP challenge over and over again….)
I still have a long way before I can all-999 at ease…. In all honesty, making the right, all-999 chibi is frustrating, especially when there are no high rarity, high level cards that can work together. But there are always alternative cards you can use and rituals to do to get RNG's blessings (im joking).
NOTE (to self): Beating lv. 20 advanced calamity in 2MP is not worth the 2%-4% bonus that you get with incompatible, 4* chibi. Better to stay at 61% or 63% with 3* chibi.
Step 4: Nyooooooooooom
Play normally, and enjoy that 63%-65% bonus event points!
Summary
Farm for items: bronze petals (x25), crystal powders, blue magic biscuits for Mitile Cannon.
(Assuming you have a 1MP team and don’t have any of the event gacha cards at all) Look at the chibi you want to make. Consider the skills to fit with your 1MP chibi team. If you have no fully uncapped SR gacha card to use as training partner, then use 4 R cards to get the rare pink trait for lv 5 skills.
Get to 150K points and uncap all 4 of the R rewards cards, level them up to lv 80. Pay attention to the "healing" skill. If a card has that skill, level them up to lv 24 only.
Go to Bennett Bar and take 3 blue biscuits to do the Mitile Cannon. May RNG have mercy on us.
Yay, a 61%-65% bonus event chibi! Put them in your team and enjoy the boost!
Exception: Anniversary Events
The only thing I can say on this section is that there's no way to get bonus more than 15% other than rolling the gacha and actually getting the anniversary SSR.
In the worst case scenario, we'll have to stick with 15% throughout the event because there won't be any reward cards to boost the bonus percentage.
In a not-so-bad scenario, we roll the gacha and get 1 anniversary card of anyone. We get 25% by that.
In a better-than-the-not-so-bad scenario, we roll the gacha, get 1 anniversary card, and use our stock of gold petals on it to increase the bonus. One gold petal will give +10% bonus.
In the best scenario, we get at least 5 anniversary cards, and borrow the other 1 from friend support. The other best scenario is getting 1 anniversary card, and have 4-5 gold petals at the ready. Use all of them on this one card, and there you have a 65% event chibi.
By this, my suggestion for anniversary events is to save mana stones, save 4-5 gold petals, and wish for good luck in the gacha (waves the defeated flag).
Exception: Rerun-by-Choice Events
These events don't give you enough copy of reward cards, sadly. You can roll the gacha, or collect the reward cards of a rerun event whenever it comes and stick with the bonus they give you. And maybe redo the event again next time. There's always the option to use your silver petals, though.
