Lost in Thought with You: Chapter 1

Akira: (Hm? Someone just came out of Chloe’s room. That’s….)
Akira: Good evening, Rustica.
Rustica: Why, hello, Master Sage. What are you doing at this hour?
Akira: I was discussing something with Nero. You’re still up with Chloe, I see.
Rustica: Yes. I happened to hear the sound of dancing fabrics from Chloe’s room until this hour, so I left him a little present.
Akira: Sound of dancing fabrics…? Was Chloe up making some clothing?
Rustica: Indeed he was. Although, he might have worked a little harder than usual today. The dance must have tired him out for him to be asleep like that.
Rustica: I shall escort you back to your room, Master Sage.

[Location: City of Affluence, day]
Akira: A lot of things happened in that alley, but it was really fun!
Chloe: For a second, I wasn’t sure how we would get out of there, but I'm glad to know you had fun!
Chloe: You’re usually collected, but you were so cute today, Master Sage!
Akira: (…Seems like Chloe is all refreshed now.)
Chloe: …Ah!
Akira: What is it?
Chloe: S-Sorry, Master Sage. Please wait a moment…!
Chloe then took out his sketchbook and quill with magic, and enthusiastically began to draw a new design.
Akira: (He looks really serious…. He’s drawing smoothly, so I think he’s finally out of his slump.)
Chloe’s eyes sparkled as he sketched in his book. He looked like he was having fun, so I stood back and fondly watched him draw.

Akira: It’s completely okay! The time just flew by while I was watching you. Have you come up with a design that you like?
Chloe: Yep, must be because I took a break with you. Look!
Chloe held up his sketchbook, and showed us a comfortable-looking roomwear design.

Shylock: That seems to be a design of your roomwear, Master Sage.
Chloe: Yep, he’s right! I wanted to make something that you can wear when you enjoy your day off.
Learning that Chloe created something for me, to the point of working on it all night, filled up my heart with joy.

Akira: By the way, is there any other place in the City of Affluence that you’d recommend?
Chloe: Hmm… Maybe that shop? The one with the odd nail polish that’ll bring out your inner desire when you put it on.
Akira: A nail polish that brings out your inner desire?
Chloe: For example, if someone who wanted to dance put on that nail polish, they'd dance for the whole day…. Or if it’s someone who wanted to be a bird, they’d begin to chirp…. The effect lasts only for a day, though.
Akira: So nail polish like that exists…! Have you ever used it yourself?
Chloe: I have! I ended up making clothes the whole day.
Akira: (That’s not much different from the usual Chloe….)
Chloe: Rustica was looking for his bride, so he put everything he saw and liked into his birdcage.
