Card Story: The Name of the Flower That Bloomed in Our Memory (Arthur, Oz)

Card Episode: A Moment in the Eastern Castle (Arthur, Akira)

The Name of the Flower That Bloomed in Our Memory: Chapter 1

[Location: Blanchett Castle, day]

Arthur: Master Oz, so you were here. If you don’t mind, may I ask what you’re doing?

Oz: …I was looking at the flowers.

Arthur: I see. The abundance of flowers that bloom around this castle is exquisite. My heart feels cleansed simply looking at them.

Arthur: The garden is tended very carefully; not a single corner has been overlooked. The gardener must be truly skillfu— Ah!

Oz: What is it.

Arthur: Master Oz, please look at your feet. That white flower is one that I read about in an encyclopedia, back when I was still living in your castle.

Arthur: Do you perhaps still remember?

Oz: …I do. I remember that you brought that encyclopedia to my room in the dead of night.

Oz: It was written that this flower blooms only on Eastern soil, but you insisted on seeing it in the North.

Oz: Time and time again, you pestered me…

Arthur: Ahaha, that’s rather embarrassing.

Arthur: But you always listened to what I had to say until the very end.

Arthur: Back then, you read the encyclopedia together with me until I grew drowsy.

Oz: …Is that so.

Arthur: Yes. I remember it very well. Because it made me happy.

Arthur: …Huh? That flower that blooms beside the white flower is….

The Name of the Flower That Bloomed in Our Memory: Chapter 2

[Location: Blanchett Castle, day]

Arthur: Do you know about this flower, Master Oz?

Oz: I do not. I’ve never seen that flower in the North.

Arthur: This may be another that only blooms in the East. The navy petals have the same hue as your hair. It’s quite beautiful, I must say.

Arthur: I wonder what its name is…

Oz: ………

Oz: The young Arthur, who was not a prince nor a wizard of the Sage, would immediately take the encyclopedia and his notebook in his hands.

Arthur: …Er, Master Oz?

Oz: If you are curious, then seek out the answer yourself. Just as you used to.

Arthur: …! Ehehe, you‘re right!

Oz: ……

Arthur: …Um, if you don’t mind, will you track down the name of this flower with me? Just like how we used to?

Oz: …Very well.

Arthur: Thank you very much! Then I shall ask Heathcliff for an encyclopedia right away!

(Arthur runs)

Arthur: Whoa!?

Oz: Vox Nox

Arthur: ! Thank you for your help, Master Oz. I was one second away from tripping.

Oz: You always become so enthusiastic whenever you are faced with excitement. The encyclopedia and the name of this flower are not going anywhere.

Arthur: Yes, I understand.

Arthur: But it has been so long since the last time I read an encyclopedia with you, Master Oz. I simply could not contain my joy…

Oz: …Is that so.

Arthur: Yes. I will be back very soon, please wait here for a moment!

Card Episode: A Moment in the Eastern Castle

[Location: Manor's lounge, day]

Akira: Hello, Arthur. Are those snacks you have in your hands?

Arthur: Indeed. These are the baked almonds Heathcliff gave me when we visited Blanchett Castle the other day.

Arthur: I was just about to invite you to eat these with me. Please, have one, Master Sage.

Akira: Thank you very much. …Mm, the pleasing aroma spreads throughout my mouth. It’s delicious!

Arthur: Ahaha, I’m glad you like it.

Akira: I’ll make sure to thank Heathcliff later. On that note, how was your experience in Blanchett Castle?

Arthur: Hm…. There were many things that I had never seen before, so it was a good chance for me to learn.

Arthur: Most importantly, I must say that Blanchett Castle was very impressive.

Arthur: The nature that surrounds the castle forms a solid and beautiful barricade. It’s a construction different from that of Granvelle.

Akira: I see. I don’t know much about castles, but I suppose that’s how a prince would see it.

Arthur: Ah! In addition, the mimosa salad that they served for dinner was exceptionally delectable!

Arthur: I secretly asked their chef for the recipe, so that one day I can ask the Central court chef to make it.

Akira: (For a prince to personally ask for a mimosa salad recipe…)

Arthur: I truly believe it was a fascinating experience, to see and learn new things unique to the Eastern Country.

Special Home Screen Line

Arthur: When I was but a child, I yearned to be a wizard as strong as Master Oz. That feeling has not changed. I would be delighted to protect him, just like how he always protected me in the past.
