Central Country’s Outfits
Yellow is the main color of the Central wizards! But I didn’t want it to look too bold, so I incorporated some gold and navy blue into the outfits to embody grace and dignity. For Master Oz, I gave him the image of a wizard who leads the Sage’s Wizards. Arthur is a prince, Cain is a knight, and Riquet is… a disciple of God, or so I’ve heard, so I did my best to bring each of their characters into the outfit. I picked white shoes for them, because I wanted the designs to be that of people who light the way for others. I had hoped I could bring out their admirable leadership with their outfits!
Northern Country’s Outfits
For the Northern wizards, I just wanted them to look strong and powerful. I picked black as the complementing color, along with some metal accessories and leather belts, to show off that intimidating air that they have. But for Snow and White, I also want to show people how adorable they are, so I gave them some frills. I was a little nervous about whether the Northern wizards would like the outfits I designed for them or not…. But at the inauguration ceremony, they pulled off the outfits really well, so I’m glad!
Eastern Country’s Outfits
When drafting designs for the Eastern wizards’ outfits, I did my best to give them delicate details. I hoped their shoe designs could highlight each of their unique auras. Actually, their outfits are my favorite out of all of them! I was determined to bring balance to their silhouettes, so that they’d look like a team from the first glance. There was a lot of trial and error, and it took a lot of effort to finish them, but when they lined up wearing the outfits, it was so beautiful! I was so moved that I kept thanking myself for working hard.
Western Country’s Outfits
The theme for Western wizards’ outfits is “happy-go-lucky”! I added lots of accessories. I made Shylock and Murr’s outfits to resemble each other, but Shylock’s looks juuuust a little bit mature. For Rustica, I gave him the image of a bard who sings poems of love. And… It’s a little embarrassing to say this myself, but I purposefully made my outfit very simple. That was my first time attending a party, so I really wanted to look like a proper gentleman!
Southern Country’s Outfits
Even from the very first time we met, I’ve had the impression that the Southern wizards are all kind-hearted, so I chose yellow-green as the base color. I had a theme from which I drew the design from: Figaro as a respectable noble, Lennox as the leader of a band of troops, Rutile as a prince, and Mitile as the younger brother of a prince. To tell the truth, I made up a little backstory when I was working on Rutile and Mitile’s outfits…. Rutile is a prince who just had been crowned, and Mitile is the unruly little brother who looks up to him. Ehehe, this is a little embarrassing, so keep it between us, okay?
